A tragic road accident at the Sagamu Express Junction in the Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State has left one person feared dead and six others injured.
The incident occurred around 9:48 am on Sunday, as confirmed by Babatunde Akinbiyi, spokesperson for the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency.
In a brief statement to journalists, Akinbiyi revealed that the accident involved a Bus Mass Transit (BMT) vehicle and a truck.
He stated, “There is a fatal RTA involving a BMT bus and a truck inbound at Sagamu Express Junction. There is also one presumed dead and six serious injuries reported.
“Rescue operations are ongoing.”
