Rivers State Deputy Governor Joins APC

The deputy governor of Rivers State, Ngozi Odu, has officially registered with the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Odu completed her registration at her ward in Akabuka town, specifically in ward 8, unit 11, within the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area of the state.

Her switch from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) occurred just weeks after Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State also joined the APC following a meeting with Tinubu at the presidential villa.

Fubara was later registered as a member of the party by Tony Okocha, the APC chairman in Rivers State, who said that he was following the instructions of the party’s national secretariat.

Additionally, Nentawe Yilwatda, the national chairman of the APC, recently declared that Fubara is the APC leader in Rivers State.
