Senegal striker Sadio Mane scored twice to help send Liverpool into the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League after eliminating Bayern Munich 3-1on aggregate on Wednesday night.

Mane opened the scoring, before Joel Matip scores and own goal to draw the scores level. Second-half goals from Virgil van Dijk and the dangerous Mane ensured that Liverpool claim a famous win at the Allianz Arena, following a goalless draw at Anfield in the first leg.

Sadio Mane’s two goals against Bayern Munich means the Senegal international has now scored more away goals in Liverpool history in the Champions League with seven goals.
