“Sister coach”: First Arab and Sudanese woman to coach a men’s team

At just 27, Salma al-Majidi has gained recognition by FIFA as the first Arab and Sudanese woman to coach a men’s football team in the Arab world. “Sister coach”, as she is affectionately called by her players at the Al-Ahly Al-Gadaref football club, fell in love with football at 16.
