South Sudan’s capital , Juba will ban all clubs and limit bar hours due to alleged “immoral acts” taking place at night spots, the presidency announced on Saturday.

The governor of Jubek State, Augustino Jadalla Wani, said in a Facebook video, that while nightclubs will be shut, bars will have their hours limited to early evenings, and forbidden from operating during the day.

“We ban it totally because what is happening there is really very dangerous for the future of this country,” he said, adding that girls as young as 13-years old frequented the clubs.
