Tunisia, Libya’s Central Banks Sign MoU on Financial Cooperation

The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) and the Central Bank of Tunisia (CBT), have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the areas of joint work. 

This came after a joint meeting between the Governor of the CBL, Sadiq Al-Kabir and his Tunisian counterpart, Marwan Al-Abbasi.

The MoU aims at enhancing prospects for cooperation in the field of developing financial transactions, launching initiatives and training Libyan youth to keep pace with development in the banking field.

It also stipulated the exchange of information, the development of effective banking supervision, monetary policy, and the development of payment systems.
