The unloading of 900 tonnes of humanitarian aid for Gaza is currently in progress from Türkiye’s 17th “Goodness Ship,” which docked at Egypt’s Al Arish Port on Friday, Anadolu reports.
The vessel, which departed from the southern Mersin International Port on Tuesday, arrived at Al Arish after a voyage across the Mediterranean Sea.
Organised by Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the ship is carrying approximately 900 tonnes of relief supplies aimed at addressing the urgent needs of Palestinians in Gaza.
The cargo includes ready-to-eat meals, canned food, and baby formula.
The 17th “Goodness Ship” is part of Türkiye’s sustained humanitarian campaign to deliver aid to Gaza as the humanitarian crisis continues to worsen.
The mission follows a series of similar relief shipments sent since the beginning of the conflict.
