The Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi has confirmed the abduction of students from the Institution at gunpoint.
The total number of students abducted is unknown at the moment.
The University’s Director of Information, Protocol and Public Relations Unit (IPPR), Rosemary Waku, confirmed the incident on Monday,and disclosed that the incident has been reported to the police and all relevant security agencies.
The University has not heard anything from the students or their captors since the unfortunate incidence took place.
The police has confirmed the abduction and the state Commissioner of Police, has ordered a full-scale investigation into the case.
