The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the activation of its online portal for recruiting Nigerians interested in working as ad hoc staff during the 2027 general election.
The commission announced the activation of the INECPRES portal in a notice published on its X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday.

According to INEC, the portal for interested applicants was activated on Friday, September 18, 2026 and will close at midnight on Wednesday, November 18, 2026.
The commission said applicants can submit their applications through its website, with options available for both mobile and web users.
“The online application will be available on the INEC website via the link inecnigeria.org (for both mobile App. and the Web Application),” it stated.
Those using laptops or desktop computers can access the web version through the INECPRES portal at pres.inecnigeria.org, while the commission also provided links for downloading the Android application.

“The web version (using a laptop and desktop) shall be accessible via the portal URL: pres.inecnigeria.org,” the notice added.
“The Android mobile App. shall be accessible via the link inecnigeria.org/pres.apk or inecpres-app.com/pres-app.apk,” it stated.
INEC urged interested candidates to apply through the designated platform before the deadline as part of its preparations for the 2027 general election.
