The Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) on Saturday, paid tribute to soldiers who were wounded in action, as well as the families of those who lost their lives during Operation Lake Sanity II in the Lake Chad area.
The ceremony, held to recognise the sacrifices made by these brave servicemen and women, highlighted the commitment of the MNJTF to support both the injured soldiers and the families of the deceased.
The event also served as a solemn reminder of the dangers faced by troops engaged in counter-terrorism operations in the region.
During the ceremony, MNJTF officials expressed gratitude for the courage and dedication displayed by the soldiers, emphasising the importance of honouring their service and sacrifice.
