Georgia forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has officially joined Paris Saint-Germain from Serie A leaders Napoli, the French club confirmed on Friday.
The 23-year-old winger, who will wear the number seven shirt, becomes PSG’s first-ever Georgian player. The transfer fee has not been disclosed.
Kvaratskhelia made the announcement on social media, sharing an emotional message to Napoli fans: “It’s hard for me but it’s time to say goodbye.”
Having joined Napoli from Dinamo Batumi in 2022, Kvaratskhelia played a key role in their Scudetto-winning campaign in 2023 and was named Serie A’s Player of the Year. During his time in Naples, he scored 30 goals and provided 29 assists across 107 appearances.
