She emphasised the administration’s dedication to improving the welfare of vulnerable groups, including women and children, under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu. The minister also highlighted a significant increase in the ministry’s budget, which would enable greater support for vulnerable citizens across Nigeria.

In his remarks, Prof. DeWayne Frazier, President of AUN, praised the girls for their resilience and academic achievements despite the hardships they had faced.

Sulaiman-Ibrahim also presented materials and cash gifts to the girls as part of the ministry’s support.

The Chibok girls were kidnapped in 2014 from their school in Chibok, Borno State, by Boko Haram insurgents, and many of them have since been freed through government efforts and negotiations.
