The uploading of results from the Osun State governorship election to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Result Viewing Portal (IReV) has resumed, with 3,576 of 3,763 polling-unit results uploaded.

The renewed uploads followed a prolonged pause that saw the number of results stuck at 3,292 for almost two hours, raising concerns among stakeholders.

By 11:42 p.m., the number of uploaded results had increased to 3,482, representing 92.53 percent of the expected results.

The earlier delay had attracted public attention, with singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, questioning INEC over the halt in uploads.

The resumption comes as collation continues across Osun State, with attention now focused on the remaining polling-unit results and their inclusion in the ongoing collation process.

The IReV platform allows voters, political parties, observers and other stakeholders to view polling-unit results uploaded electronically by INEC during the election process.
