A fire has broken out inside a section of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
A large fire near the Embakasi Garrison was documented in videos and photographs that circulated on social media sites, accompanied by a black cloud of smoke.
The fire started on Friday evening, burning the majority of the JKIA grassland section near 75 Airport-North Road.
It is still unclear what caused the fire, though indications suggest it began outside by the fence.
