EU Trade Chief Reports Progress in US Talks

The European Union’s trade chief, Maros Sefcovic, announced on Wednesday that trade discussions with the United States are “advancing in the right direction at pace.”

This statement comes just one month before 50 per cent US tariffs on European goods are scheduled to take effect.

Sefcovic shared on X (formerly Twitter) that he had a “productive and constructive discussion” with US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer in Paris.
