The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has issued a strong condemnation of the recent Israeli strikes on Iran, calling for urgent international intervention to halt the attacks.
In its statement, the OIC General Secretariat denounced the Israeli military action as a “flagrant violation” of Iran’s sovereignty, security, and international law. The organisation urged the international community and the United Nations Security Council to take responsibility and act swiftly and decisively to stop the aggression, warning that it threatens the peace, security, and stability of the entire region.
The condemnation follows early Friday attacks by Israeli forces targeting Iran’s nuclear and missile sites, which resulted in the deaths of senior military commanders and scientists. In retaliation, Iran launched ballistic missiles across multiple locations in Israel.
