A minibus and a truck collided in southern Ivory Coast, resulting in the deaths of at least 14 individuals, including an infant, according to local sources on Sunday.
The crash occurred on Saturday near Agboville, located about 100 kilometres north of Abidjan, the economic capital, as reported by the Ivorian news agency AIP, referencing emergency services.
Eighteen individuals sustained injuries in the crash, with six of them in critical condition, suffering from severe injuries, it added.
Additionally, several vehicles were swept away in Abidjan due to flooding caused by heavy rainfall on Saturday. However, no fatalities were reported.
