Iran’s Khamenei Declares ‘No Mercy’ for Israel

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared on Wednesday that his nation would show no mercy to the leaders of Israel, coming just hours after US President Donald Trump demanded Tehran’s “unconditional surrender.”

In a message posted on X, Khamenei stated, “We must give a strong response to the terrorist Zionist regime. We will show the Zionists no mercy.”

Last week, Israel launched an unprecedented bombing campaign targeting Iranian nuclear and military sites, alongside residential areas. In retaliation, Iran responded with missile and drone attacks, and early on Wednesday, it claimed to have fired hypersonic missiles at Israel.

On Tuesday, Trump demanded the Islamic Republic’s “unconditional surrender” and boasted that the United States had the capability to easily assassinate Khamenei.
