Juventus Finalise Signing of Conceição

Juventus have confirmed the permanent signing of Portuguese winger Francisco Conceição following a successful loan spell from FC Porto last season.

The 22-year-old, who has earned 11 international caps for Portugal, impressed during his time in Turin, netting seven goals across 40 appearances in all competitions.

He has now agreed to a long-term contract with the Serie A giants, tying him to the club until 2030.

The club, which is the only Italian football team listed on the stock exchange, revealed that the deal is worth €30.4 million (£25.8m), to be paid over four years. An additional €1.6 million will cover associated fees and costs.

Italian media reports suggest Juventus are also nearing a deal to sign Portuguese right-back João Mário from Porto, with Juve defender Alberto Costa likely to move in the opposite direction as part of separate negotiations.

The transfer of Conceição adds to Juventus’s recent summer reinforcements under new head coach Igor Tudor. The club has already secured Canadian international Jonathan David from Lille to bolster their attacking options.
