President Bola Tinubu will serve as the Special Guest of Honour at the 8th Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit (NDIS), scheduled to take place in Abuja from November 11 to 13, 2025.

The announcement was made on Friday by Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), during a press briefing in Abuja.

Organised annually by NiDCOM, the summit provides a platform for Nigerians in the diaspora to explore and invest in key sectors of the national economy, including agriculture, ICT, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, energy, and the creative industries.

The 2025 summit, themed “Fast-Tracking Regional and National Development by Mobilising Diaspora Investment,” will focus on leveraging diaspora capital to drive sustainable development.

Dabiri-Erewa further highlighted the economic ripple effects of the summit, noting that it has contributed over ₦500 million to Nigeria’s local economy through services rendered by small and medium-sized enterprises and creative professionals.

She reaffirmed NiDCOM’s commitment to sustaining the summit’s momentum by spotlighting emerging sectors such as fintech, sports, education, and infrastructure development.
