Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore and Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, have been freed from Kuje Prison after spending four days in detention.
Announcing his release on Monday via X, Sowore stated, “Happening now: leaving Kuje Prison in Abuja after being unlawfully detained for four days. #FreeNnamdiKanuNow.”

Authorities had detained him following his rearrest at the Kuje Magistrates’ Court last week.
