Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner secured a comfortable 6-3, 7-6 (7/3) victory over Ben Shelton on Friday, completing a perfect, unbeaten run through the Bjorn Borg Group in his ATP Finals title defence in Turin.
The Italian star, who hasn’t dropped a set since losing the 2023 final, expressed readiness for the next challenge.
Sinner will move on to face Alex de Minaur in the first semi-final match on Saturday, where he is heavily favoured.

While Sinner celebrated his flawless group performance, American debutant Shelton was eliminated after losing all three of his matches, admitting that the 0-3 finish “stings” but reflecting positively on his overall season.
The tournament is now set for a thrilling finish, as Sinner remains on course for a potential rematch with rival Carlos Alcaraz, who was recently awarded the year-end World No. 1 spot.
The final semi-final spot will be determined later on Friday, with Alexander Zverev and Felix Auger-Aliassime competing for the chance to face Alcaraz.
