The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday elected a new set of national officers at its National Convention held at Eagle Square.
Nentawe Yilwatda emerged as the party’s National Chairman, while Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru was elected National Secretary.
Their emergence was announced by the Convention Election Committee alongside other members of the party’s National Working Committee.
The convention was attended by top leaders of the ruling party, including President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas.
