President Bola Tinubu has postponed his planned trip to Iperu, Ogun State, where he was scheduled to inaugurate operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the president will instead travel to Jos, Plateau State, to commiserate with residents over recent attacks that claimed several lives.

Following his visit to Plateau, Tinubu is expected to proceed to Lagos to observe Good Friday. He will then travel to Ogun State on April 4 to commission the cargo airport and inaugurate two commercial aircraft aimed at boosting import and export activities in the state.
During the Ogun visit, the president will also inaugurate a new facility for the Federal Operations Unit of the Nigerian Customs Service and operational vehicles.
Tinubu is expected to return to Lagos for the Easter celebrations, during which he will commission key infrastructure projects undertaken by the administration of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, including the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information System Building, a multi-agency complex named after him, and a school complex.
The president will conclude the tour with a visit to Bayelsa State on April 10, where he is scheduled to inaugurate projects completed by Governor Duoye Diri before returning to Abuja.
