APC supporters in Kebbi State have expressed their backing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris spoke at the rally, saying the turnout reflects support for his administration and that of Tinubu’s leadership.

Idris said, “I will speak very little because I am overjoyed by this unprecedented crowd and the massive support we are enjoying. Myself, Kauran Gwandu, and President Tinubu are encouraged by the confidence the people of Kebbi State have shown.”

The governor stated that the rally was a demonstration of support and that ongoing efforts at the state and national levels would continue.

“As you have pledged to return us for a second term, we will continue to deliver the dividends of democracy,” he said.

He also stated that there is an increased national presence in the state, linking it to alignment between the state and the Nigerian Government. The party leaders who attended the rally said the gathering exhibited unity within the APC in Kebbi State as preparations proceed ahead of the next election.

The rally was attended by various party leaders, including the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu; Senator Muhammadu Adamu Aliero; the APC National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu; and former governor Saidu Nasamu Dakingari.
