FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has dared the factional leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to open a bank account for the party, warning that any financial institution that allows such an account would face consequences.

Wike made the remarks during a media chat on Wednesday, as he continued to assert that the faction led by Tanimu Turaki, SAN, is operating outside the law.

“Let Turaki as a Senior Advocate, open an account of PDP. That day that suit will move. If I dare him open an account. Tell Nigerians that party people this is the account where you pay your money for people. Let him open PDP account,” Wike said.

He warned that any bank that facilitates such an account would be in trouble.

“First of all, that bank will be in trouble. And today I tell you my bank would be in trouble. Because for you to open an account, you must have the secretary of incorporation… who has it? is the secretary of party…I will seal off any house that allows them to use it as the PDP headquarters,” Wike said.
