“We, the citizens, must come together, Islamic leaders and Christian leaders, to stand together against the terrorists,” he said.
He added that security agencies are not well-equipped to address the insecurity and fight terrorists to the best of their abilities. He recalled a discussion he had with a security operative who said they had no funds to fuel their vehicle.

“Did you know that for the past almost one month, the government has not given them a dime? I had to mobilise 5 million naira to fuel their vehicles across Jos. These security agencies, you see, are also going through their own pain,” he added.
El-Buba also urged Nigerians to hold the government accountable, adding that they are public servants.
“You must hold your political office holders accountable. They are not gods, they are your servants. President Bola Tinubu is your servant, he’s not your boss. Governor Caleb Mutfwang is your servant; he’s not your boss,” the preacher said.
“And if the citizens continue to behave like servants and slaves, politicians will continue to work on your heads. Because they come with little rice on this side, they come with little money on this side; then you change your language. Your land is bleeding.”
