French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Kenya on Sunday, prior to the start of the inaugural Africa-France Summit scheduled to begin on Monday, 11th May 2026.
Macron will co-host the summit alongside Kenyan President William Ruto, underscoring the growing partnership between Africa and France.
Upon arrival, the French head of state was received by the Prime Cabinet Secretary and the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi. The summit is themed “#AfricaForward.”
