Nigerian Gospel singer Steve Crown and his wife, Ruth Thomas, have welcomed their first child.
Crown announced the birth of his child on Instagram on Saturday, posting a video of himself and his wife dressed in white. The singer described the arrival of their baby as a blessing worth celebrating.
Crown wrote: “Some blessings cannot be explained; they can only be celebrated. Thank You, Jesus, for all You have done. Thank You Jesus for the gift of our baby. A new chapter, a new blessing, a new reason to thank God every day. May God bless everyone that desires this beautiful testimony. Amen”.

The “You are Greater” singer also prayed for others believing for a similar testimony.
The announcement has attracted congratulatory messages and well-wishes from fans, colleagues and well-wishers in the comment section, celebrating with the couple.
Recall that in April 2025, Crown and Ruth got married shortly after announcing their engagement in that same month.
