The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates can now print their 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) original result slips.

The examination body disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, noting that the slips became available for printing shortly after the announcement.

According to JAMB, the original result slip contains important information, including the candidate’s photograph, national ranking and other security features required for admission screening and processing by tertiary institutions.

The board said candidates can print the document from any internet-enabled device or through accredited business centres.

“The 2026 UTME Original Result Slip will be available for printing within the next two hours today, Wednesday, 17th June, 2026,” the statement read.

“The Original Result Slip contains the candidate’s photograph, national ranking, and other security features. It is part of the official document required for post-UTME processing and consideration by tertiary institutions.

“Candidates can conveniently print their Original Result Slip from any internet-enabled device, whether at home, in the office, or at accredited business centres,” it added.

JAMB advised candidates to carefully verify the details on their slips after printing and keep copies for future admission-related purposes.

The 2026 UTME was conducted in April, while a mop-up examination was held on June 13 for candidates affected by technical or biometric challenges during the main exercise.

Results of the mop-up examination were released on June 16.

The board had earlier delayed the release of the original result slips to allow the completion of foreign-based examinations and the mop-up exercise.

The availability of the slips is expected to facilitate post-UTME registration and admission processes for the 2026/2027 academic session, with several tertiary institutions already commencing or preparing to commence their screening exercises.
