According to the party, the committee has been tasked with engaging aggrieved members and other stakeholders, identifying areas of disagreement and recommending practical measures to promote harmony within the party.

Speaking on the committee’s mandate, the APC State Chairman, Sunday Fagbemi, said the initiative is aimed at ensuring all members are carried along as the party prepares for the next general elections.

He explained that the reconciliation effort is intended to strengthen internal democracy by providing party members with an opportunity to express their concerns and have them addressed.

Fagbemi said the committee’s composition reflects the party’s confidence in the experience and integrity of its members, expressing optimism that the panel would help foster greater unity.

The move comes as political parties across the country intensify consultations and internal restructuring ahead of the 2027 elections, with the Kwara APC seeking to consolidate its ranks and improve cohesion.
