Iran Accuses US of Escalating Tensions

Iran’s military accused the United States on Saturday of escalating tensions in the Middle East and warned neighbouring countries against assisting American forces.

Central Command Chief Ali Abdollahi condemned Washington’s military activities and warned that regional nations offering support or defence to US forces would face dire consequences.

“The United States is rapidly moving down the path of escalating tensions in the region,” Abdollahi stated. “Any country serving as a defensive shield for criminal and aggressive America will be engulfed by the flames of war.”
