Kane Breaks Bundesliga 100-Goal Record

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane became the fastest player in Bundesliga history to reach 100 goals, hitting the milestone in his 98th match on Friday against Union Berlin.

Kane converted a 39th-minute penalty against goalkeeper Frederik Rønnow to net Bayern’s second goal of the evening before adding a second strike in the 54th minute.

He shattered the previous German league record held by Cologne’s Dieter Müller, who reached 100 goals in 129 matches during the early 1970s.

He claimed the European Golden Boot twice, scoring 36 goals in the 2023–24 season and matching that total in 2025–26 alongside a 26-goal campaign in 2024–25.

Kane opened his current league tally last week by scoring the match-winner in Bayern’s 2–1 victory over Elversberg.
