Brighton brought Arsenal’s perfect start to the Premier League season to a screeching halt with a commanding 3-0 victory at the Amex Stadium.

Mikel Arteta’s side had won all seven matches across all competitions, but Fabian Hurzeler’s confident team broke down the Gunners’ defence.

Pascal Gross opened the scoring in the 31st minute with a strike off the post before Charalampos Kostoulas doubled the lead from the edge of the box before half-time.
