The production arrives in cinemas nationwide 33 years after the 1993 release of the original Agbara Nla, created by Christian filmmaker Mike Bamiloye and later adapted as The Ultimate Power in 1994.
Directed by Damilola Mike-Bamiloye and Joshua Bamiloye, the modern reimagining follows two Christian converts, Olaboye and Olatomi, who venture into a village controlled by the formidable herbalist Isawuru to preach their faith.
Mike Bamiloye reprises his iconic role as Isawuru, alongside Aanu Kolade Abiodun, Remilekun Mosiko, Philip Olubakin, Gloria Mike-Bamiloye, and David Kola Okeowo.
