Trump Offers Dana White Press Secretary Job

United States (US) President Donald Trump has offered UFC President and CEO Dana White the role of White House press secretary.

Trump made the offer in a post on his Truth Social platform on Saturday. He also extended the offer to White’s assistants, though he noted that some were not US citizens.

“We need these people to defend us against the Lunatic Left,” Trump wrote.

“Dana will be a Press Secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job!” he added.

The offer comes after former White House press secretary Katie Zacharia left the position in October. She stepped down just five days after taking over from Karole Levitt.

However, Trump has not announced a replacement. His appeal to White also comes a day after the White House announced a major change in its leadership team.

On Friday, Trump announced that his deputy chief of staff, Stephen Miller, would become the new chief of staff, replacing Susie Wiles.
