Davido Has been ignoring my calls – Cynthia Morgan

Internationally celebrated Nigerian artiste David Adeleke simply known as Davido, who promised to help Dancehall singer, Cynthia Morgan seems to have failed to deliver on his promises.

Cynthia Morgan, also known as Madrina, in an interview with Hip TV explained why her supposed collaboration with Davido is yet to be released. She said the ‘Fem‘ crooner has not kept to his word has earlier promised.

Morgan says she has been reaching out to Davido for a while but he has not been responding to her calls or WhatsApp messages.
Some months back, news about Cynthia Morgan regarding her ‘ruined’ music career flooded the internet, after she surfaced on Instagram following years of being caged behind closed doors on the heels of her split with former manager Jude Okoye, to lament about her battle with depression.

Her story broke many hearts in Nigeria and beyond, and some music lovers, including celebrities joined to pledge their support for Madrina, as she expressed interest in resuscitating her dead career.

Davido openly declared that he wanted to help her bounce back to the music industry. “Tell Cynthia I got an anthem for her ….. I’ll record my verse now” he shared.

However, some Nigerians were shocked at his gesture, recalling the insults Morgan rained down on him a few years back while she was in her prime.
Fans quizzed why Davido decided to help Cynthia Morgan after she called him a ‘f..k boy’ on social media.

But the DMW Records boss saw things differently, even though he was accused of trying to chase clout using Cynthia‘s plight.
Taking to his Twitter page, the ‘Blow my mind’ hit maker explained his reason for wanting to help Cynthia Morgan.
“Most important thing is that she has spoken and people are willing to help and she can rewrite her steps and have another chance. That’s all that matters”, he wrote.

However, it appears Davido has refused to put his money where is mouth is, as Madrina revealed that he has since ignored her attempts to reach him.
“After the interview that I had with Sandra, I did see a tweet where David said ‘Cynthia call Me’ and I did call David but he didn’t take his calls. Sent messages on WhatsApp but he didn’t reply them,” she said.

“It’s just a long story actually…but l don’t know. Even the record he sent, I made a demo verse of the record and it’s been like three months we’ve not heard anything from David.”

Following the unfulfilled promise, Cynthia Morgan has unfollowed Davido on Instagram.
