Tigray: Sale of Ethipioan Artifacts on the Rise

Several Ethiopian artifacts have appeared for sale on Ethiopian websites, raising the possibility that they were stolen from churches and museums during the Tigray crisis.

Despite authorities requesting residents to return all artifacts and report if they stumble across Ethiopian antiques online; scrolls, manuscripts, and other items are being traded in internet markets.
