All travellers arriving in Ghana will be required to complete a Mandatory Health Declaration Form starting Thursday, November 12, 2026, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced.
In a press release issued on November 7 and signed by Director-General Dr. Samuel Kaba Akoriyea, the GHS stated that the directive follows an announcement by the Minister of Health.
“All passengers travelling to Ghana will be required to complete the Health Declaration Form (visit: https://ehds.ghs.gov.gh/declaration) before embarking on their journey to Ghana,” the statement said.
The service explained that the measure is intended to strengthen the country’s public health surveillance and preparedness systems, enhance the monitoring of potential public health risks, and safeguard the health and well-being of residents and visitors.

Travellers are strongly advised to complete and submit the required form prior to departure.
The GHS also called on airlines and travel agencies to bring the requirement to the attention of passengers to ensure they are adequately informed ahead of their journeys.
“The Service urges all travellers to comply with this directive to facilitate a smooth travel process and support the country’s efforts to protect public health,” the statement added.
