Spanish football giants, FC Barcelona, moved within touching distance of the La Liga title after a hard-fought 2–1 victory over CA Osasuna, with late goals from Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres proving decisive.
The Catalan side now sits 14 points clear of Real Madrid and could be crowned champions if their rivals fail to secure a win against RCD Espanyol.
After a subdued first half, Barcelona raised their intensity following the break. Lewandowski broke the deadlock in the 81st minute, powering home a header after being picked out inside the box. Torres added a second goal four minutes later, finishing calmly to extend the lead and put the visitors in a commanding position.
Osasuna responded late through Raul Garcia, whose header reduced the deficit and set up a tense finish. However, Barcelona held firm under pressure to secure all three points for their 10th consecutive league victory.

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick described the result as “huge,” noting the team’s improved performance after the interval.
“In the first half, we controlled the game but not as well as in the second half with speed, we attacked their last line much better,” he said.
Despite early struggles and the absence of key attacking options, Barcelona showed composure and depth, with substitutes playing a decisive role.
If Real Madrid responds with a win, Barcelona’s next opportunity to clinch the title will come in the highly anticipated Clásico.
