An Equatorial Guinea military helicopter carrying four people has been missing for three days, with search operations ongoing to locate the aircraft, authorities said on Monday.
The Chinese-made Z-9 helicopter went missing on Friday at about 6:00 p.m. local time while conducting a routine mission, Vice President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue said.

All four people on board were military personnel and pilots, according to officials.
A communications official from the vice-presidency confirmed that efforts were ongoing to find the missing aircraft, adding that aerial assets and specialised search teams had been deployed to intensify operations.
Authorities have not disclosed further details about the possible cause of the disappearance.
