Fubara Swears In 12 Permanent Secretaries

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has sworn in 12 new permanent secretaries, charging them to remain committed to strengthening the state’s civil service and advancing the development of Rivers State.

The governor made the remarks during the swearing-in ceremony in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.

“Their appointment is a call to service, not personal ambition, but a responsibility to strengthen our institutions and advance our collective vision for a more efficient and progressive Rivers State,” Fubara said in a post on his verified X handle.

The governor said he was confident that the new appointees’ experience and dedication would enhance the effectiveness of the civil service and contribute meaningfully to the state’s development.

“As I swore in the 12 newly appointed Permanent Secretaries today, I charged them to remain committed to doing what is right for every citizen, for Rivers State and for the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Fubara said.
