Prince William has revealed that his father, King Charles III, is not a football fan.
Speaking on the podcast hosted by Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, the Prince of Wales said King Charles played no role in his love for the sport.
“My father hates football,” William said when asked whether the King introduced him to the game.
The prince, a well-known supporter of Aston Villa F.C., also said he would travel to the United States if England reached the FIFA World Cup final.

England secured a place in the Round of 16 after a strong performance led by captain Harry Kane, who scored twice in the team’s victory over DR Congo.
The Three Lions are scheduled to face Mexico in the knockout stage at Estadio Azteca on Sunday.
During the conversation, Travis Kelce jokingly invited Prince William to meet him at the final if England progressed that far, with the prince responding that he would “definitely” attend.
The interview aired during the United States’ Independence Day celebrations, marking 250 years since the country declared independence from Britain, prompting a light-hearted exchange about the long-standing relationship between the two nations.
