The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) issued a public warning on Friday, advising candidates applying to four Ministry of Interior agencies against paying for the mandatory Drug Integrity Test (DIT).
Speaking through Media Director Femi Babafemi in Abuja, the agency confirmed that neither job applicants nor agency personnel need to pay any fees for the screening process.
The NDLEA explained that the Ministry of Interior has already provided a single bulk payment to cover all testing costs for new intakes.
This arrangement applies to recruits joining the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
Consequently, the agency warned applicants and participating personnel not to transfer money to NDLEA officials, testing centres, or any third-party payment platforms.

Candidates will access the mandatory test by logging into the NDLEA Drug Integrity Test portal via designated links on their respective agency portals.
After completing registration on the portal, applicants will proceed to their scheduled tests without facing any financial demands.
The NDLEA commended the Ministry of Interior for funding the programme and pledged to maintain full transparency throughout the recruitment process.
