Another 105 Nigerians arrived in Lagos from South Africa on Friday following recent xenophobic attacks, bringing the total number of repatriated citizens to 1,926 since June.
Foreign ministry spokesperson Oluwafemi Adeniyi confirmed on Tuesday that the latest group—comprising 26 men, 29 women, and 50 children—arrived on the 14th consular evacuation flight since the government launched the exercise on June 10.
The evacuation effort remains ongoing as official verification and clearance processes continue for additional citizens in South Africa.

Nigerian authorities stated they are collaborating with South African officials to address the xenophobic violence, while advising citizens in the country to maintain vigilance, follow local laws, and stay connected with the Nigerian mission in Pretoria for support.
