Galatasaray have 69 points from 33 games, three points more than Istanbul Basaksehir with a game to go. However, the Turkish league is decided using the head-to-head record instead of goal difference if teams are tied.

DR Congo’s Christian Luyindama, Morocco’s Younes Belhanda, and Senegal’s Mbaye Diagne were also in action for the Lions who stretched their unbeaten run to 14 matches.

The win clinched a domestic double for Galatasaray after they beat Akhisarspor 3-1 to win the Turkish Cup last week.
