Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has raised concerns over the absence of results from Saturday’s Osun governorship election on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Result Viewing Portal (IReV).
In a series of posts on X( formerly Twitter) on Saturday, Davido called on INEC to provide timely updates and ensure transparency in the collation and transmission of results.

He questioned why no result had been uploaded to the IReV portal as of 2:33 p.m., saying Nigerians deserved greater transparency in the process.
“INEC, it is now 2:33 p.m., yet no result has been uploaded to the IReV portal. What is the delay? Nigerians deserve transparency and timely updates,” he wrote.
Davido also urged voters to remain at their polling units until their results were uploaded to IReV and ensure that the figures recorded on the physical result sheet were accurately entered on the electronic EC8A form.
“Make sure your polling unit results are uploaded on IReV in your presence and make sure the figures are entered on eEC8A (electronic EC8A). We will follow our votes bumper to bumper!” he said.
He encouraged voters to photograph their polling unit result sheets and share them through a WhatsApp number provided in his post as part of efforts to monitor the results.
The singer further claimed that election officials could use the front camera of the BVAS device where the main camera was not functioning, saying the alternative camera was active and could facilitate accreditation.
Davido, whose uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, is seeking re-election on the Accord Party platform, has openly supported and campaigned for him during the election.
