Türkiye rejected Israeli accusations on Wednesday that it posed a security threat by preparing to deploy military forces to an airbase in Syria.
In a statement reported by the state-run Anadolu Agency, Türkiye’s Communications Directorate dismissed the claims made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office as frivolous.
Turkish officials stated that Israel uses these baseless allegations to legitimise its unlawful airstrikes targeting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
