The Managing Director of Fouani Company and three Lebanese nationals were abducted on Friday, June 14, 2024 by armed men while traveling by boat in Lagos.
The abduction occurred near Falomo Bridge as they were traveling from Apapa to Victoria Island.
A source close to one of the victims stated that the kidnappers have contacted them, demanding a ransom.
The source said, “The Managing Director of Fouani Company (LG and Hisense) and three Lebanese were kidnapped around Falomo Bridge on Friday while traveling from Apapa to Victoria Island by boat. They’re asking for $1.5 million.”
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident: “Yes, it is true. We received the report and are investigating. I cannot provide further details at this time.”
