Iran has announced that mosques, metro stations, and schools will be utilised as public shelters starting Sunday evening, as Israeli attacks on the country entered their third consecutive day.
Government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani confirmed this development on state television, stating, “Mosques are among the shelters available to the public, and the metro stations will be prepared tonight to open for use.”
She further added that schools are also considered “safe places” for refuge, indicating a broader effort to protect citizens amidst the escalating conflict.
